The Denta Narrative

A journey from the ashes of conflict to a blossoming sanctuary of education and spiritual hope in the heart of Liberia.

SINCE 2011

Founded on Faith

The history of Fairview Missionary School is intimately tied to the resilience of Denta. In the wake of twenty years of civil unrest, Don Riley and his family envisioned a center of excellence that didn't just teach children how to read, but showed them their worth in Christ.

By partnering with local elders, we secured 10 acres of land. This wasn't just a physical expansion—it was a promise to the community that we were here to stay, building a future where every child has access to two hot meals and quality Christian education.

Trace our footprints from the very first classroom to our modern campus in Denta.

PHASE 1

Post-War Response

The Riley family enters Liberia. Amidst shattered infrastructure, the mission begins with basic relief and a search for a permanent spiritual home.

PHASE 2

The Denta Anchor

Partnership with Hope for Home Ministries is established. The clinic and school sites are chosen in Denta to serve the Kpelle farming villages.

PHASE 3

A Unified Staff

In a historic move, we began hiring teachers from all 17 tribes, proving that in Christ, tribal divisions are secondary to the Kingdom of God.

PHASE 4

Academic Excellence

Curriculum expansion including Music, Art, and PE. The school officially becomes a top-tier educational beacon in rural Bong County.

The story is still being written.
